Helicobacter pylori

Helicobacter pylori infection is no longer given as much attention as it was in its early days with the pioneering work of Warren and Marshall. However, H pylori remains a major worldwide problem as a cause of peptic ulcer disease and gastric neoplasia. Furthermore, there remains considerable confusion regarding modern approaches to diagnosis and treatment of this infection.
